China releases mandatory classifications and guidance to the Hazardous Chemicals Catalogue

3 September, 2015

The State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) released a guidance document for the hazardous Chemicals Catalogue and the mandatory classification of the substances listed there. Substances with a mandatory classification are not identical with the harmonized classifications in Europe; the list contains 2828 substances at the moment. The guidance is only available in Chinese. Our Chinese speaking colleagues are happy to support you in case you need further assistance.
